That beat is easy to quilt quilt to keep you cool?

I want to make a quilt that I'm not too hot. I also want a stick quilt that is easy, either by hand or machine. Should I use bamboo, cotton, polyester, silk, or a mixture of cotton / polyester? Also, Should I use low loft? Thank you!

Natural fibers are colder – that "breathe" better – therefore avoiding the Poly and Poly-blends. Never dive with bamboo or silk, but cotton should be fine – not just fine cotton.
