Deposited sweater will shape after washing your hands leave permanent holes?
I have a bit of wool and cashmere sweaters that been washed by hand in cold water, as the attention of the route to say. The instructions then say "reforming and dry flat. I have a dish drying rack, I use for drying sweaters. But I think the shirt tend to shrink / reduce a bit, especially around the neck when wet. Therefore, gently stretch during drying, and I've been using boxes and pots to "lock" out and staying in shape during drying. But it occurred to me that I could use pin (safety pins, embroidery pins) to pin bridges directly to the drying rack, and keep them in good shape thus more effective as it dries. My question is: Is it safe to set the shirt in place when drying after each wash? Or will it leave holes repeatedly standing on his sweater, and ruin? I use the pins are safety pins and small (with a ball on one side), which entered into a sewing kit.
She must be good to set his shirt on the drying rack. Weavers make this long for "block" size pieces (wool, especially tends to decrease when dry). If you are really worried about damaging the fibers can pin in small holes between the stitches.
