Hand-stitched with simple curtains Coly / Potton material and now want to make them thicker?
Our mortgage we have a budget very limited, so I bought some beautiful fabrics and curtains sewn by hand with a simple needle and thread. I have very basic set of adjustable stems that rise through the window. I want to make them thicker to block the light, etc. Any suggestions? I was to buy more fabric and sewn on top, and even saw "black out" fabric which is especially to block light, but my material is poly-cotton and not too heavy. We live in a warmer climate and have a flow of the open window. Thanks in advance for their ideas.
I would say the only way to make your curtains look "fuller" is to put a line behind him. Ingredients create the illusion complete curtain and chandelier. This block also care for his sun sunlight probs. There are lots of different ingredients that you can put in the back of your existing curtain. Depends on the amount of sunlight coming through, and what you want done with the window. Options are likely to be a "tape give "the shirt. Place the lining of the band online, and join with the previous curtain hooks to the back of the tape on the curtains. (how easy link the two together, without repeating). Another idea is that the wall in a separate track. So, after sunscreen as needed, or pull the pads again when not needed. ————————- COATED TRIM 3 pass coated lining (available in cream, ivory or white). Blocking 98% of sunlight. This is the last in protection against the sun. Gives complete protection. However, once the curtains are closed, it really darkens the room, so take into consideration. If you have a lot of heavy sun, I'd like to get this option. 1 Pass-coated lining (available in cream, ivory or white). blocking 40% from sunlight. It is good if you still want a little light filters through, but gives some protection against the sun and a good bit of privacy. (you can not see through fabric.) (You can obtain coatings, as in Sweden or cotton, polyester or a Suede – Cotton is a natural fiber, while the polyester is man. Cotton always gives a mat, while the polyester has a little more shine to it.) Http://www.bricosgroup.com.au/just/justprod/prod01j.html ———– — – ————————– COATED TRIM continuous cotton lining (this is a base fabric only, and protects the curtain itself – not will reduce the sunlight. They tend to appear in colors, white and cream. The cotton lining is probably the cheapest option. It is a type of liner wear. It lasts up to 2 years. Once that is done, it is replaced by a new one. Your job is to protect the curtain and just give some fullness to see the curtain. Polyester Lining Vista (Australia) BRICs (need to buy Curtain local dealer). This is a good line, gives a brilliant Nice adds fullness to your curtains, but not rigid with a thickness uncoated fabric too kind with this set of light. The polyester coating Supreme range is built Vista Point, son of textured polyester 100%. Polyester offers many advantages over more traditional ingredients such as highly resistant to degradation by the sun, total stability, and resistance to moisture mold, resistance to wrinkles, UV protection and excellent drapeability improved. Compatibility with Vista is the highest level, the light filtering effect, improving of all curtain fabrics. The neutral color has been particularly successful, make sure that the subtle colors of face many tissues do not change the color of the shirt. (Available in colors: ivory, white and neutral) http://www.bricosgroup.com.au/just/justprod/prod06j.html —————- — Other options: If you do not want to go for a liner and has a simple or see through fabric that is quite colorful, transparent or colored. Another suggestion is to choose a curtain fabric to improve the existing curtain. For example. If you is a curtain that can be red. Sometimes it's nice to put a tissue behind the curtain (as a liner), which is also red, which strengthens the tissue of origin. Instead of white or cream, that changes color. I suggest as a tissue that can be seen by transparency. I can buy another curtain fabric, which comes as Spend 1 or 3 pass coated, or you can simply uncoated and do agree with that. You should visit your local curtain and see what kind of coating, and curtain fabrics available. Hope I helped —-
