Sew a baby quilt …?
This is probably an odd category for this question, but no sewing Yahoo Answers! I wonder if the wool shrinks, and if I had to wash before sewing the baby quilt. Thanks for any help! Oh yeah! It is 80% cotton, 20% polyester …
Yes, even 80% / 20% batting will be reduced. I've used it specifies that reduced about 3%. Preshrink can to ensure that no reduction is filled once until. Does your preshrink fabric? Some people, some not. If you like antiquey "a quilt preshrink then look no tissue / batters. If you want the quilt of the same appearance after washing is when you dive, then use a stick or pole preshrink pure poly and tissue, including what you plan to back up and binding. Have fun!
