Cut Patchwork Quilt
Why did you cut the back of a large blanket that the blanket?

This is my first time making a quilt. Everything you read, said to reduce the support of my quilt at least 3 "larger on all sides. I take it for machine quilting, but do not understand how important it is to sew by hand, especially if only I'll cut later. I also want to bind the quilt in a material different from that of support. Please help! Thank you.

Seeing a finished quilt. See Quilting how the points are indented, and the parties are disconnected inflated? The seam causes the tissue in just a few. This "reduction" of fabric during the sewing process. This is even more essential when the machine quilting, especially if you are sewing frame. With a frame still needed boost more to attach to the clips. Also, if the chassis, the machine or hand sewing, quilting you more points (the most detailed and most complex of the blanket) most will shrink over the seam. Think of it as a precaution. You better have some better material to cut the end of the quilt and find again Their support is a little smaller than the top. I do not know if asked also how to make binding, so here is a link to binding instructions, just in case. I prefer double-double of grain binding Cross corner tab (which is in the link).
