Decorative Thread Quilting
How can I adjust the tension of the bobbin on my sewing machine?

I'm trying to finish up Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews, and today, my sewing machine has gone wacko. I cross-hatch quilting and sewing with stitches in both straight and decorative through layers of fabric and batting (Warm-and-natural, which is very thin). Suddenly, the thread of the tap is not surprising before making a zig-zag, and even with a straight stitch, the back is loose and tied to the future. I think it means that the voltage of the coil be removed somehow chaotic, which makes sense because it started after replacing the coil after filling with a wire. Help!

STOP! Do not mess with coil voltage again! What you describe is usually the result of tapping with the presser down, so that the upper thread can enter the blood, or not to put the presser foot when you're sewing (easy to remember when working in a thick quilt) or is fluff or something stuck in the lines. Loops in the back are a sign that the tension of principle is not getting enough voltage. Loops in the top is a coil voltage of questions. Chances are you have a question misthreading. (And if you have more than 4 hours of the needle up and down time for quilt, it is probably a new needle time anyway. Soooo …. 1) Stop the machine and a new needle and a quick cleanup and oil. Take the wire / The machine. It is faster than the search for Threading ReTHRED minor error. 2) Cleaning the higher voltage – Dampen a piece of a large part Lime Muslin (a handkerchief or a pillowcase hem is perfect) alcohol or unflavored vodka. Raise the presser foot and beard High tension with wet muslin. Fall of the lever when you have a clean piece of gauze between the disk and drag the shape of muslin. Raising the presser. (If you do not have alcohol or vodka around, use the latest and clarity of the bill (currency) that you have in your portfolio. Fold it in half lengthwise, placed between the discs of open voltage, then lower your foot and pull the bill. The document used to paper currency is very strong and the ink is mildlly abrasive and does a very good job of cleaning the blood.) 3) With manual in hand, ReTHRED. If you've been playing with the voltage highest, is set at 4 and try to piece, the setting is the mesh that you love. There is another possibility … If you use heavy thread and a very fine needle, the thread may get stuck throat along the needle, and not fire when the needle rises. This needle stuck loops also gives the effect on the bottom. I also saw a little seam beaten Hook Up give this kind of problem, if you want to review in May, especially if you recently broke a needle or pin into the seam. Dings can be carefully polished with crocus cloth. It is very rare to have to adjust the tension of the coil in most of the machines, unless you some specialized work as bobbin work (embroidery backwards). If you adjust the tension of the coil, this is a good article http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4302/understanding-thread-tension
