What kind of material I want to make a quilt?
I am able to sew and applied, but I will make a quilt together. When I go to shop tissue to examine the tissue, what should I tell the seller that I want? I am looking for cotton or something? Something traditional soft cotton jersey, but not very soft. Eavy and I wish that was a sturdy quilt
If you go to a shop dedicated to Quilters, staff can help you choose great fabrics and fabrics store large. If you go to Joanne or Hobby Lobby, the staff can or know anything about fabric or padding. Good material is expensive, however, I think if I spend a good amount of time to do something, I want something to last. If you get your fabric at a discount store, then it could last, but probably will not happen. Personally, I prefer 100% cotton fabric, for my quilts. I think making a pillow or two with one, four or nine reconstructed quilted blocks. This will make used to reconstruct the blocks, and construction by Generally a quilt block.
