Bhalessa – a tourist center

BHALESSA – TOURISM CENTER

Bhalessa has a rich history. The region takes its name from those inhibited Bhalay in the area of Louga "(the Immaculate people with perfect destination). Bhalessa story is much older and dates from 200 BC and at the time reveloves the revered scholar Buddhist Nagsena was invited to a debate Mender by the king in his palace Sakla, some participation in Kishtwar. In discussions Nagsena answered all the questions the king, who then embraced Buddhism and became King Milinda. Discussion Nagsena Panha Millinder listed in "a Pali Treaty (section) on the foundations of philosophy Buddhist.

The Bhalessa was linked to Bhaderwah and was known as Bhaderwah Jagir and was known to be distributed in 15 tahrs or units. The total area of Bhaderwah Jagir (including Bhalessa etc) was 533 miles square which includes parts of Udhampur district. The recommendations of the take private property, the state of Bhadarwah Jagir ended in 1930 AD thus became a Bhadarwah Tehsil Udhampur district in 1931 and the area has been reduced to 213 square miles only. The first mention goes back to the ground proximity Rajatarangni (1112-20 AD)

After the establishment of Doda district headquarters, tehsil Bhadarwah made this district, including Bhalessa as Niabet. As a result of the reorganization of the districts and tehsils in 1981 Naibat Thathri and Niabat Bhalessa of Tehsil Bhadarwah tehsils became so real and Thathri po Tehsil Tehsil Gandoh were cut from the sub-division Bhaderwah. Doda district had a sub-district of Ramban, two sub-divisions of the knowledge of Kishtwar and Bhaderwah. But now, as Kishtwar and Ramban have been updated, as a district, Tehsil Bhalessa was reclassified as a Sub-Division.

Bhalessa is inhabited by the Muslim majority and more than one third of the total population is minority Hinddu. Bhalessa is known for its old harmony between traditional communities. The people in general, dominate the class are working inhibition zone without political momentum. Both communities continue to live together in the same villages in relative peace. With the commitment and understanding of the Hindu secular Muslim Heritage designs in black, was swept away and the locals turned their attention toward higher goals. Therefore Bhalessa has become a higher education institution was modified smashing business education, there is a tide in the field of education Bhalessa. The establishment of a level of government in Upper Kilhotran is another feather to his bow. Bhalessa interior is divided into several areas including Jugas Khal, Chanti, Neeli, Gandoh, Jitota, Pingali, Chilly and Basnota. No doubt that the two communities in the region live in friendship and compete with people across the state.

It is also known for its well known and recognized personalities to dominate all sectors of the Tate Gallery and the country. A summary of peace and brotherhood so Gh. Rasool Azad is a key figure among them. He along with his fraternity involved, including, Nil Kanth Parihar, Mir Munwar Din, Mohd Shafi Mattoo, Prof. UMMER Din Munshi Ram Chand Parihar, Habib Malik and amny more, has done much to maintain the legacy Bhalessa secular. In addition, companies destroying education area has been shaped by the personality former Director of Education, Ghulam Rasool Azad prominent in the region, who heads the top of the education in the region. Full of achievements, Ghulam Rasool Azad spared no effort to give a facelift to the education system in the region. But all this was in the nineties thanks to the sudden activism in the state, which also raised its ugly head in Bhalessa, the dream of Late GR Azad Bhalessa built education center has been struggling for recognition. Despite the communal harmony and brotherhood between the two communities has remained unchanged for the time expressed a great influence on the education sector in the region that has suffered greatly from the buildings of almost every school, Govt. institutions, etc. have been raised by ash Revolutionars then. That was when some young people headed by Mr. Mohd. Ayub Zargar met to consider how they may play a role in the development of education in the hills of Bhalessa Doda J & K State. These young people share the belief that education is an important role in maintaining harmony among age communities in the area will also be an effective catalyst for social change and economic development in the region. Therefore, an organization that has the status an NGO has been formulated by the name of the learning society, sports, environmental, social and cultural rights in order to promote the educational level of the area, along Hormony strengthen the community. The same was subsequently registered with the Registrar of Companies Registration Act in Title VI of 1998 (1941 AD) and thanks for this organization the territory was very successful in almost all areas of life and yet, NGOs played a key role in the development of the area.

Geographically Bhalessa is one of the most remote and inaccessible areas of Distt. Doda. Expand your borders with Kishtwar, Thathri, Bhaderwah and exchanges of the border with Chamba in Himachal Pradesh. Bhalessa extends over a large area, the mountainous topography and dense forest vegetation. The district area of forest cover is extensive. Bhalessa In a crash, suffers adequately against energy infrastructure facilities, ie trade and commerce, communication, and the availability of modern techniques. The scenario of non-agricultural sector is also low. Tourism in this region has great potential remains untapped and abandoned.
Grasslands as Kanthi, attention Bhaga, Roharhi, Dagan, Bal Padri, etc. in the region are extremely beautiful and has an enormous tourist potential. The entire region is mountainous and has a number of hiking trails that traverse the site of incredible scenic beauty captivating. The dense forest cover around these fields and added en route to her beauty.

To date, no person in the levels of power had already thought about developing this area and how far behind the state. Forget the other sectors in the country, while traveling from Thathri to Gandoh road, one can imagine how the government had worked for the lifting of the population of the region. Lots of mountains and wonder wannabe with a huge potential of the tourism industry here. The narrow road that passed his way through the hills overlooking a large amount of press clouds and dust. However, it is worth mentioning here that the widening of the road, but only 30 km from Thathri Gandoh on this subject was difficult and takes much of the funds that nobody can be bothered to think about it before its enlargement. Azad was praised highly respected for the job. Now this road is in the process grading upward, once completed, will travel by road from Thathri to Gandoh shorter and more convenient.

One area that is even more demanding explore in this area is its tourism potential. Although a number of tourism development authorities have been established to explore the hidden treasures of the state and also the former Doda district, however, are not detected Bhalessa field so far. The grasslands in the region are the scenery of God endowed tourism potential. There are vast natural grasslands deodars surrounded by green and Kail. The beauty of the place is not possible unless Gulmarg which has international recognition. The area was equipped by narrow rivers with potential for the electricity sector. The old mosque and a temple on the sides and many hot and cold in and around mountain slopes add to the scene of her beauty. Each age Doda district wants to visit this fascinating place, at least once. School children from remote locations to select locations for their tours and annual picnic. Although takes only hours to keep track of these enchanting places to lay their anxieties and boreness but all these factors have remained a dream for hikers and tourists, the area is a gift of nature neglected, since there is no infrastructure and residential quarters, etc. around the site for tourists to stay and rest.

As ex-CM, Azad Bhalessa belongs to the zone and was very aware of the topography of this beautiful valley with a huge tourism potential. He felt that a separate development authority for areas to help develop the region and attract more tourists. As a first step the development of tourism in the region of the Tourism Development Authority, in Bhaderwah has been established, then specific measures must be carriedf for the construction of motorable roads connects Bhalessa with Bhaderwah and subsequently cabins tourist and other facilities will be raised there. Several projects have been taken by the then Azad led Govt., Kahara Jai As approved route with a total of Rs. 20.78 million rupees under the Central Road Fund (CRF) Scheme. This road will link the village in the area with Jai Bhaderwah Kahara Bhalessa through the villages of Malanu, Gugara, Bittola, Kencho, Baghdad, Halaran, Budhi, and Joura Shamdalian before entering the picturesque meadow Jai Bhaderwah in opening avenues for development for people of all these peoples. Besides this Gondoh Chinta road is also taken to ensure an alternate link with Bhaderwah. Stoping is not here, the road taken to Khaljugasar Gowar implementation and this road will only make the tour of beautiful meadows Jashoo Dagan, Ruhari, Bagh and many others who will then be a step to cross.

The place is now an ideal base for walkers and climbers on their way to the great Himalayas. Bus services to major cities like Kishtwar, Doda, Jammu Bhaderwah and Bhalessa contact with the rest of the state. Small plots of wheat and mustard, like patchwork quilts, straddling the banks of the river running in the snowy peaks in the distance with an overwhelming passion that blend into the Chenab beyond. So Gujja Bakkarwal and men with beards dyed with henna and turbans slightly wounded, are often perceived as herds of buffalo, mountain sheep and goats led scalp, which add to the beauty of the lovely meadows. His sons and his companions followed after them, driving mules laden with pots, pans and garbage from their mobile homes.

And the tourism industry in this region remained unexplored and abandoned as a result of the negligent attitude of successive governments in the past. And now that the new coalition government headed by Minister Omar Abdullah is the decision by the State after that the change of guard, the residents are hoping they will not have to wait for the development and implementation of projects, including roads in the area for a number years or more too. The development of the region in the road sector is going to revolutionize the adventure tourism in this area. Only the great efforts and concrete actions are thus required to deal with natural beauty and rejuvenate the social fabric of the tourism industry of the region in particular and therefore the state in general.
