Can you answer this question please quilting?
I want to make a "5 square made with strips of cloth. Can you say that the size the band I need and how much. Would be using 1 / 4 inch seam.
You can do all the card size you want, provided they add up to 5 inches when finished. While it is important that all strips to be a uniform size, then cut them all equally, adding a half inch of each strip. For example: 2 strips, cut 3 inches wide, 5 bands, a cut of 1 1 / 2 inches wide, or 10 bands, a cut of 1 inch wide. In the end, you will have a additional quarter-inch of all that you can use for another sewing thing, or cut. I do not like things too predictable, so it would just sew a bunch strips of different sizes together without measuring until a rectangle that is larger than 5×5, and cut the final product to 5 inches more ..
