Looking for a block size to four 10-inch quilt patch?

I want 10.5 (10 inches finished) with four quilt blocks Patch block design. The block I mean, Colorado Beauty: http://www.blockcentral.com/block-coloradobeauty.shtml calling for all 1 / 2 square triangles. What I know is what size I cut my pictures? Thank you!

Cut your squares 3 3 / 8 ". The 12" as it has been shown 3-inch squares (4 times 3 = 12) with 4 / 8 "(1 / 2") is added to reflect the regular seam allowance and 3 / 8 "added to the diagonal seam created by cutting and resewing triangles. This meant cutting 3 7 / 8 "square. To make a 10" finished block should be 2.5 "square (4 times 2.5 = 10 ") with those given the same seam allowances. So that means you have to reduce its squares 3 3 / 8". It will take 2 "out of its original size, giving it a 10 "instead of a block 12" category. Hope this helps.
